Here is my latest illustration for the Style section of the New York Times. I was asked to illustrate gender inequality in the fashion industry. I had a few sketch options which I think worked but I’m really happy with the “slanted runway” concept that was chosen. Many thanks to AD Bernadette and the NYT for […]

I was contacted last week to create a series of illustrations for the Style section of the New York Times. The illustrations needed to work with photos of different cosmetics as the article was about How to Wear Spring’s Most Inventive New Makeup. It was a bit of a challenge but challenges often lead to interesting […]

I had a really fun evening last night at the Society of Illustrators Special Sketch Night. The models were great, Bil Donovan facilitated wonderfully as always, and the representatives from Focus Features handed out sewing kits and […]

Last week I got a call to illustrate a nice story about a woman’s quest for the perfect Parisian apartment and how meeting the right partner changed everything. I really enjoyed this piece. You can read the story here: https://realestate.boston.com/my-first-home/2017/10/26/an-american-in-paris/ Thanks to Lesley at the Boston Globe for the commission.

I was commissioned to create portraits for an Annual Report of Historical Returns for a large global asset manager. The main portrait I had already created for another publication but 2 additional portraits were needed to complement that one. The timeline was extremely tight so I created the portraits in 2 layers, line and color. That […]

I had a really fun job land on my board last week, an editorial illustration for the Wall Street Journal’s Off Duty section. The article was about the debate over which wine is superior, that of a single vineyard, or a blend. Here are the 2 sketches I submitted, some work in progress and the final […]

New for @washingtonpost today. Meet the #jurors of the #derekchauvin trial.
Back at it. Postponed for the #pandemic but the project is back on 👏🏼
Last June I was asked to create this new merlot label. It was a very focused project and one that I was very grateful for. It was one of the few projects that I worked on during the lockdown and it really helped keep my mind positive. It was very peaceful exploring the delicacy of wings, the design of the filagree, and the iconic ‘A’.
Last night’s fashion drawing session with @bildonovan @soi128 @offenbad
Views from my home yesterday.
If you watched my #igtv vid, here is the finished #drawing
