Instagram

Last June I was asked to create this new merlot label. It was a very focused project and one that I was very grateful for. It was one of the few projects that I worked on during the lockdown and it really helped keep my mind positive. It was very peaceful exploring the delicacy of wings, the design of the filagree, and the iconic ‘A’.

“1-minutes” are what these short poses are sometimes called. They’re great for capturing body language and design. What I find is that they tend to be honest and instinctual. Less time to think and only time to react. It’s great exercise for the mind and hand.
