A few months ago I was asked to create the 2018 cover for the Edelman citizenship report, an annual report of sorts. The cover had to encompass the 4 main principles of their corporate culture: community, people, world, and clients. After a few sketches were worked over the final color version was created. The 4 […]

I’m excited to share this project I worked on last summer. I’ve never worked on a montage of elements quite like this. It was challenging, but I really enjoyed putting the elements together. Here are a few shots of the work in progress. What do you think?

I was commissioned to create portraits for an Annual Report of Historical Returns for a large global asset manager. The main portrait I had already created for another publication but 2 additional portraits were needed to complement that one. Happy New Year everyone! I thought it might be interesting to start the year by showing some behind-the-scenes work, also known as “sketches” that I created for a recent commission. It was a fun illustration to do about a topic that I really find interesting, and I had a great time developing the final image. […]

My first #drawingvideo on Instagram. Full disclosure, this is sped up 😉 I can draw fast but not that fast. Swipe for the finished #drawing
“1-minutes” are what these short poses are sometimes called. They’re great for capturing body language and design. What I find is that they tend to be honest and instinctual. Less time to think and only time to react. It’s great exercise for the mind and hand.
Happy New Year!
