Janus (January)

Posted by: Greg  /  Category: General Forum

As 2009 comes to an end I, like Janus, take time to reflect on the many lessons learned this past year and I take time to consider the art in my future.

I’m incredibly excited for all of 2010′s possibilities!

Wishing you all a safe, healthy and happy new year.

Happy Holidays

Posted by: Greg  /  Category: General Forum

Well it’s that time again…time for my annual ‘Angel’ “holiday” card. For years now I’ve either created or been inspired to create the card at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Their Christmas tree covered in angels is my launching point. This year my angel illustration is loosely based on the legend of the Christmas Rose. Have a wonderful holiday everyone!

Celsius at Bryant Park

Posted by: Greg  /  Category: Reportage

walking home the other night I passed ‘the pond‘ (ice skating rink) in Bryant Park. The ice rink has been a fixture for the past few years and this year they’ve added a great new building/restaurant/lounge called Celsius. I believe it had existed before, but on a much less grand scale. It was a quite a winter scene so I made a few quick drawings. by the way, skating there is FREE so go for a spin.
