Today I put together a small collage of few reportage drawings I made during the evening rush hour. This has been great, but I’m ready for larger paper and larger ideas. It’s funny, it starts as a way to practice and document and already I’m ready to move on. Well onward and upward!


Back to work. A woman on the phone, no time to stop and talk, just keep moving. And then there is this girl who is waiting. Maybe she’s waiting for the woman on the phone?

This months article deals with ‘manners’ and how they are so important in building client relationships. I found the best way to illustrate this is the Golden Rule. “Due unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Simple, yet so many people forget the basics.

So it’s just too difficult to draw 1 person a day, so I’m just going to put up as many as I think works for that day. This is New York City afterall. So here are 3 women that I found particularly different and interesting. They each had their own distinct personalities, which helped distract me form the fact that every woman in Manhattan carries MANY bags. Backpacks, handbags big & small, shopping bags. You name it, they’re lugging it. Unbelievable. What are we all carrying?
